Leaderboard Guide — High Wave Pushes on Rooftop Map
Wave leaderboard tips for Survive Zombie Arena: Necromancer scaling, squad composition, elite handling, and realistic wave targets without exploit tools.
What leaderboard players optimize
Leaderboard competition in Survive Zombie Arena centers on highest wave survived on the current arena — Rooftop Map since April 2026. Points come from lasting longer than other squads, not from stylish loadouts.
Endgame players invest in Necromancer (250,000 Credits) for Soul Harvester minion scaling and Death Nova burst clears in stairwell funnels. Tactician (75,000) plus Medic (10,000) anchors provide structure for squad records.
Marksman (15,000) pierce remains relevant until wave 50-plus when elite density overwhelms gun-only DPS. Use Loadout Builder leaderboard scenario at Loadout Builder and Credit Planner push_necromancer goal to track investment.
We do not recommend scripts or exploit tools for leaderboard pushes — legitimate kit play survives patches.
- Metric: highest wave on Rooftop Map.
- Necromancer 250k — S-tier leaderboard scaler.
- Squad records: Tactician + Medic + Marksman baseline.
- No scripts — ban risk destroys account investment.
Class and weapon setup for high waves
Standard leaderboard squad: Tactician barricade and Vanguard Turret on primary stairwell, Medic Mending Tower inside structure, Marksman rifle pierce on secondary spawn, Necromancer harvesting in the funnel behind barricade. Solo leaderboard attempts are Necromancer-dominated after minions come online — early waves are the filter.
Weapon path still matters: handgun → shotgun (~150) → rifle (~750) before wave 20. May 2026 Necromancer minion buff increased walkspeed and damage — exact values undisclosed but community wave records improved.
Bastion (200k) Bunker extends squad survival during spike waves but solo farm tier is lower than Necromancer. Check tier list before substituting Engineer or Ninja.
- Squad comp: Tactician + Medic + Marksman + Necromancer ideal.
- Solo: Necromancer after rifle online.
- Minion buff May 2026 — factor into nova timing.
- Rifle before exotic shop weapons every push.
Elite management and Auto Skip discipline
Leaderboard runs die to elites breaking barricades during Auto Skip votes — coordinate skip timing in friend squads only. Kill or CC elites before trash when structure is low.
Tactician Vanguard Turret must stay focused on elite spawn side — call rotations in voice chat. Necromancer should Death Nova when elites stack with trash, not when one stray walker appears — nova timing separates 80-wave from 100-wave runs.
Public 25-player lobbies rarely achieve leaderboard waves due to random skip and role chaos — queue coordinated groups. Redeem Zombies (2,500 Credits) for account progress between push attempts, not mid-run.
- Elite priority — barricade breaks end runs.
- Coordinated Auto Skip only in friend squads.
- Death Nova on density, not single targets.
- Avoid public lobbies for serious push attempts.
Realistic wave milestones
Casual coordinated squad: waves 40–60 with Tactician + Medic + Marksman, no Necromancer. Advanced squad with Necromancer: 70–100 plus depending on patch balance.
Solo Marksman ceiling often 45–55 without endgame class. These ranges are community estimates — not official guarantees.
See how-many-waves and infinite-waves guides for terminology. Farm Credits between pushes with Marksman so 250k Necromancer unlock does not stall your roster.
Credit Planner estimates sessions from current balance.
- 40–60: Tactician squad baseline.
- 70–100+: Necromancer coordinated pushes.
- Solo Marksman ~45–55 without endgame unlock.
- Farm between pushes — do not wipe economy on one attempt.
Between-push maintenance
Review deaths — structure failure vs DPS shortage vs early nova waste. Update loadout in Loadout Builder team mode.
Watch official Discord #patch-notes for zombie and minion balance changes. Disputed GALACTIC code will not help leaderboard prep — use active Zombies only.
Document personal best waves to measure improvement rather than chasing streamer clips with undisclosed squad comms.
- Post-run review: structure vs DPS vs ability timing.
- Patch notes — May 2026 weapon and minion changes matter.
- Track personal bests — ignore unverifiable stream hype.
- Codes page for Zombies only — GALACTIC disputed.
Recording and comparing your pushes
Log wave number, squad comp, and patch date for each personal best — May 2026 Necromancer buff invalidated old records for many players. Compare against same-patch peers, not pre-patch clips.
Share loadouts via Loadout Builder text export for squad coordination. Leaderboard improvement is incremental: plus five waves with better Auto Skip discipline beats restarting at wave 1 with Necromancer but no rifle timing.
- Log wave + patch date + squad comp.
- Compare same-patch records only.
- Loadout Builder share text for squad sync.
- +5 waves from discipline beats class swap alone.
Pre-push roster and Credit buffer
Before leaderboard weekend: own rifle-tier comfort on Marksman, bank 10k+ Credits buffer for in-run repairs, redeem Zombies if active, and confirm squad roles in Loadout Builder team mode. Necromancer pushes need 250k already spent — do not push while still saving unless squad carries.
Tactician barricade refresh consumes in-run Credits — broke pushes wipe at wave 55. Credit Planner solo_high_wave estimates prep checklist length.
- 10k+ in-run Credit buffer before push.
- Necromancer push requires 250k spent first.
- Loadout Builder team roles pre-queue.
- Planner solo_high_wave prep checklist.
FAQ
What class is best for leaderboard waves?
Necromancer (250k) for solo scaling. Coordinated squads use Tactician + Medic + Marksman + Necromancer.
What wave count is good?
40–60 is strong for most squads. 70–100+ typically needs Necromancer and coordinated comms.
Can I leaderboard in public lobbies?
Unlikely — random Auto Skip and role chaos cap wave count. Use friend squads.
Do scripts help leaderboard?
No — we do not recommend them. Ban risk and patch breakage make scripts counterproductive.
